During a protest this Tuesday, the leader of the Socialist Democratic Party, Dardan Molliqaj was arrested. The demonstrations happened in front of Kosovo’s Police station. Molliqaj was protesting alongside some PSD supporters.
“This was a protest against politicians who are violating anti – Covid measures and are not being punished, while the opposite happens for the citizens of the country”, stated Nol Nushi, one of the protesters.
“Rallies for the parties, punishments for the citizens”, was the motto of the supporters of Molliqaj’s party.
13 of the protesters have already been arrested along with the leader. For Molliqaj, this is not the first time. He has been arrested before, when part of “Lëvizja Vetëvendosje”.
Molliqaj is the husband of the former Minister of Education in Albania, Besa Shahini. /AlbanianPost.com
