The violent earthquake that hit Croatia today has united the Albanian politicians as sign of solidarity with Croatians.
Prime Minister, Edi Rama, wrote on Twitter that he had forwarded the brotherly solidarity of Albania for the disaster that hit the city of Petrinja. “Albania is close to heart with Croatia. We will give our modest help to cure the wound that this earthquake opened”, writes Rama.
Meanwhile, President Ilir Meta, expressed his sadness on the event. “Human solidarity with the Croatian people and authorities”, he writes. “Close to Croatia, with all our capacities, as strategic partners, alongside every challenge”.
Speaker of the Parliament, Gramoz Ruçi, expressed his solidarity with a letter sent to his homologue, Gordan Jandroković. “In the name of the Albanian Parliament and in my personal name, I express my solidarity and support on facing the consequences of the earthquake”, Ruçi writes.
“I express the belief that our Croatian friends will face off with success the difficulties created”, concludes Ruçi.
A strong 6.4 Rihter earthquake hit Croatia. Until now, seven people were found dead.
